Course structure

This course consists of a 50-minute recorded video presentation by Catherine Maxwell, General Manager, Policy and Advocacy, Governance Institute of Australia, together with reference resources and activities.

The course will assist participants to:

  • Understand the impacts of recent events, including the Hayne Royal Commission and the COVID-19 pandemic, on corporate governance and directors’ duties
  • Identify strategies for advising directors and officers on standards, policies, culture, risks and opportunities.
